Once you enter Battahl, it’s very easy to get the Trickster calling: Talk to Luz in the Reverent Shrine.

Southeast of the checkpoint gate, east of Enoa’s Battahl Forest and north of Bakbattahl you’ll find a small building by the river. That is the reverent shrine. Walk into the shrine and you will find an incorporeal woman named Luz. Talk to her and exhaust her conversation options. When you regain control of your character, you unlock Trickster.

If you’re having trouble finding Luz, don’t worry. Continue to the main mission of the game to the capital Bakbattahl. Keep going and you’ll eventually get the quest “Flickering Shadows,” which asks you to visit a special blacksmith and an oracle. Follow the steps of the quest and you will end up directly with Luz.

Note that while “Flickering Shadows” makes finding Luz easier, you don’t need to have the quest to unlock Trickster.
