How to solve all safehouse puzzles in Black Ops 6

There are a number of them puzzles in the BlackOps6 safehouse, your base for the campaign. The safehouse plays all the classics: from the piano-opens-a-secret-door gag to alphanumeric codes and hidden blacklight messages.

Basement generator puzzle solution in Black Ops 6

After completing the first mission of the campaign, you enter the safehouse and are given free rein to explore. The puzzles here are fairly linear, but the first two steps can be completed immediately.

You must complete the piano puzzle to open the first door that takes you into the basement, and the generator puzzle to open the second. Both can be done first, but the piano is right next to the first door, so it’s a bit more convenient to get the generator ready first.

It can be difficult to find the generator as it is in a different basement and the door is not very clearly visible. If you are facing the room where Woods is located, look to the right. There is a hallway leading through the ground floor and a door immediately to your right as you enter. Go through that door and into the basement to find the generator.

There is a note on the table with vague instructions on how to start the generator. It explains that you need to partially top up the fuel before lighting the pilot light, then fill the boiler with water to get it going.

In gameplay terms this translates to turning the boiler valve twice to empty the water, and the fuel valve once to reduce the fuel gauge to half. Than, press the pilot switch. You will hear some sounds confirming that it worked, so now Turn the boiler tap twice to fill the water. This will start the generator and complete this part of the puzzle.

Piano puzzle solution in Black Ops 6

While the generator is running, go to the room with the piano, just past the main room. Here you will find the blacklight you will need for future puzzles. We have a special guide for the piano puzzle, but essentially what you need to do is look around the room with the piano puzzle black light to find out what to do.

The black light will highlight various Cyrillic letters in the room, in addition to numbers and arrows. The numbers tell you the order of the letters and the arrows show where the next letter is in the room. When you interact with the piano, you see these Cyrillic letters above the keys when you shine a black light over them.

To open the cellar door, press the five buttons in the order indicated by the letters. These are:

Go to the basement through the door that opens next to the piano. The door down here will unlock once you complete the generator puzzle. Go through it and you will encounter three corridors: left, right and straight ahead. The only way you can proceed is to the right, where you’ll find a keyboard.

Basement keyboard puzzle solution in Black Ops 6

This is less of a puzzle and more of trial and error. To find the code, you have to play a numbers version of Wordle; but first you need your blacklight.

Shine the black light on the keyboard to see different fingerprints. We are looking for one five-digit codeSo look for the buttons with the most prominent and brightly lit fingerprints. The code is different for everyone, so we can’t just tell you what it is. Repeated digits can also occur, so if you notice that only four digits show fingerprints, the brightest one is probably double that number.

Enter your five digits and you’ll get an answer on the right. All numbers highlighted in red are incorrect, yellow numbers are correct but in the wrong place, and green means the number is correct and in the right place. This allows you to narrow down the options and find the right code to open the door.

Decode the number puzzle solution in Black Ops 6

In this room you will find many very old computers. Go left and you’ll see a terminal you can interact with. You will see a table with numbers, with a code word at the top and a number at the bottom. Each number represents a letter, so it’s your job to do that read the number to find out the code word.

Simply put, you need to look at the set of numbers at the top of the screen, find the corresponding letter for each number at the bottom of the screen, and then enter the code. The four words you get here seem to be the same for everyone, but not necessarily in the same order, and the number seems to change too.

As long as you follow the number on the screen, you should have no problem completing this puzzle. Once the codes have been entered, the door in the middle hallway will be unlocked.

Inside you must complete a simple lockpicking mini-game to open the next room. That’s all it takes move the lockpick around until it starts to glowand hold it there to open the door. Go inside and get the key to the last basement room.

Puzzle solution for the radio room in Black Ops 6

The key opens the door in the left hallway where you first entered. If you walk down there you will see an icon indicating that there is a signal coming from the room. Follow that signal to find the radio, just to the left of the TV. Interact with it to begin this part of the puzzle.

You are shown an oscilloscope machine, with two waveforms on the screen. You can control the amplitude and frequency of either of these waveforms, and you need to make sure it matches the other. First increase the amplitude until the top and bottom of the waveforms align. Then adjust the frequency to match the width. Once you get it right, the radio will start playing a message repeatedly.

What this message says is different for everyoneso unfortunately this is another example where we can’t just give you the answer. However, we can explain to you exactly how this works. If you turn on your blacklight and look around the room, you will see numbers appear on or near various items in the room. The message will list four of these items, which will give you the four-digit code to open the safe.

For example, this is the message we received: ‘He slumped on the couch with his wife’s bag still missing. He saw the calendar showing his brother’s birthday, just below the memorial flag.” The key words in that statement are sofa, bag, calendar and flag. By checking the stuff in the room we got our code, 3196.

To solve this yourself, listen carefully to the message. The message is repeated over and over while you are in the room so you don’t have to worry about remembering it. Look around and look for any items with a number on or next to them. See which ones match your message, then memorize or write down the numbers in the correct order.

Here are all the numbers in the room we could find, with their associated items. Please note that we cannot confirm every single radio recording, so what we call them and what the radio message calls them may vary.

How to open the safehouse vault in Black Ops 6

Once you have the four numbers from the radio room puzzle above, return to the ground floor and go upstairs. The safe is located in one of the bedrooms. Go up the stairs in the main hall next to the front door and then turn left. You then enter a bedroom where there is a safe next to the bed. Enter your code to complete all puzzles, get the Case Cracker melee weapon blueprint and a handy $1,000 in your pocket.
