A passing buyerbirdie‘ online said ‘everyone should know’ about the two-week price guarantee policy.
If the price of a product drops within two weeks of a customer’s purchase, a refund of the difference in value will be offered to those who request it.
In a short video, the woman acted out a scenario between a customer and a JB Hi-Fi employee, explaining how all you need to do is request a refund and provide a receipt.
In comments to the short clip, JB Hi-Fi employees confirmed that the policy applies to all stores and is available to all customers.

An Australian customer revealed how to get a refund at JB Hi-Fi. TikToker who calls themselves ‘Little Birdie’ (pictured) explained how the two-week price guarantee works. Multiple current and former JB Hi-Fi staff members struck up a conversation and shared other tips.
‘Yes, you can do this. She worked at JB for two years. I think you can do it in other stores too,” wrote one person.
‘Yes, I worked there. It’s true. But it has to be while it’s still for sale,” added another.
A third said: ‘As a former employee of JB Hi-Fi, I learned a lot of useful things. Remember: JB Hi-Fi wants you to buy from them. So don’t be afraid to ask for offers.
They match the price too. Always look online for the article first,” wrote a fourth.
Thousands were stunned by the ‘hack’ and wished they had known about the policy sooner.
‘That!!!’ one person wrote, another said: ‘Do what now?’
