How to pre-order the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet — 151 sets

The upcoming new Pokémon trading card game set Scarlet and Violet — 151 is set to arrive September 22with at least one card from each of the beloved original Pokémon from the Kanto region.

This set also includes the first new Kadabra card in over 20 years, as magician Uri Geller has retired from his ongoing dispute with The Pokémon Company.

This set is already out in Japan, so we already know what to expect with full art and rare illustration cards. However, unlike Japan’s release, the only way to get the coveted one Mew ex special illustration rare card (the one that shifts from day to night when you tilt it) is to order the Ultra-Premium box. People will eventually resell this card without all the other stuff that comes in the box, but it’s hard to predict what the price of the card will be.

If you don’t want the rare Mew ex card with special artwork, nor any of the other goodies (dice, playmat, etc.), then this might not be the bundle for you – but the ones below might suit your needs better.

This is just a small box containing six booster packs. This is great if you were planning on buying a bunch of packs anyway, as it’s slightly cheaper than buying six packs in one go (depending on where you buy your individual packs).

Each of these cans has two booster packs and a special coin with an energy symbol inside. If you order from GameStop, the tin you get will be random, so buyer beware.
