Woman’s ‘crazy’ banana peel hack amazes millions: ‘It’s like a glue stick’
- Isabella Jackson ‘peels’ her bananas in a strange way
- She cuts the fruit in half and pushes it out of the skin
One woman has amazed millions with her “crazy” banana peeling hack that guarantees no mess and, surprisingly, requires no peeling.
Isabella Jackson simply ‘breaks’ her banana in half every time she wants a snack, instead of struggling with the stem.
The unusual hack has been a staple of her family since she can remember, and Isabelle revealed that many often gawk at her for not peeling the fruit the “normal” way.
After breaking the banana in half, Isabella holds the fruit from the bottom and “squeezes” the edible part out “like a glue stick.”

Isabella shared a video showing exactly how she “snaps” her bananas, joking that many have called her a “witch” for her tactics.
The Kiwi woman simply holds the fruit at both ends and breaks it in half.
“It’s very efficient and not nearly as violent as everyone thinks,” she said in the video.
“You don’t really need to peel them once you break them,” Isabelle explained after many said she should still eat the fruit the same way.
“You snap them open, then you can just squeeze the bottom, and they come out like a glue stick.”
Isabella then squeezed the underside of the skin, slowly pushing the fruit out from the outer part.
Many were stunned by the banana peeling hack and vowed to try it for themselves.
“That picture is one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever seen or heard,” said one man.
“I’m going to buy a banana to try this,” added another.
“This feels so cathartic and convenient,” wrote a third.
But others disagreed with the unconventional hack, claiming it would only work on a banana that was still slightly raw.
‘How can you eat that? It’s not even ripe yet,’ said one woman.
“It pops when it ripens, but it doesn’t squeeze and just turns into mush,” a second one revealed.
“I don’t trust a banana that snaps so easily to keep my mouth from feeling stiff,” another commented.
One man commented, “And here I was complaining about people peeling bananas upside down.”
