How to import your Character Creator Arisen and Main Pawn into Dragon’s Dogma 2
The Character Creator for Dragon dogma 2 releases two weeks earlier than the full game, giving you ample time to design a humanoid punching bag for the game’s endless litany of fantasy dangers.
This demo — which is available at Play stationXbox and Steam – is a standalone app, but will export your creations to the full game when it releases on March 22.

How to create a character in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator
The Character Creator allows you to create a total of ten characters: five Arisen (the character you play as) and five Main Pawns (your primary sidekick). You are free to go back in and play with these 10 characters as much as you want.

You can choose everything about your Arisen and Main Pawn, from race to body shape and facial features to voice and class (or calling, in the game’s parlance). It’s not clear from the demo whether your character’s body weight affects his carrying capacity, but it’s probably a safe bet.
For Dragon dogma 2you can choose both your Arisen race and your Main Pawn race from both base lines human or the feline animals.
You can also choose one calling for each of the four available:
- Sword and shield fighter
- Reaches archer
- Spells magician (who also act as healers)
- Resilient thief
For your pawn you can also choose their (starting) personality: hun slope – also from a list of four:
- Support-oriented good-natured
- Defense-oriented calm
- Exploration trending simple
- Aggressive straightforward
Your pawn’s tendency determines how it will behave, such as healing a downed ally instead of focusing on a head-on battle.
How to import your Arisen and Main Pawn from Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator into the full game
When the full game starts and you use the character creator, you should see the option use existing data and that will import the character you created (and saved) during this demo. You can only import one of each type into the full game.

Currently the Character Creator warns about this you can only import one main pawn into the entire game. Making an Arisen doesn’t give the same warning. It’s unclear whether this means you’ll only be allowed to import one pre-made pawn period, or only one per save file in the full game.
