Kasey Giarratana, from Melbourne, used to spend $2,400 on eyelash extensions every year, but instead decided to invest that money elsewhere and launched Xali Organics in June 2021 selling a natural eyelash serum.
By using the product, the brand claims that customers will notice longer, thicker lashes in just one to six weeks.
In protest to show that natural products work just as well as commercial alternatives, the 28-year-old cut off her frizzy natural lashes on March 27 and uses her own growth serum every day to regrow them.
Since livestreaming the process on social media, sales have skyrocketed and haven’t stopped since.
“We are on track to be the best month ever for our company,” Kasey told FEMAIL.

Kasey and co-founder Michael Giarratana decided to start the brand because they wanted to create alternative products without toxic ingredients.
She claims that some commercial pharmaceutical eyelash serums are potentially dangerous.
