How to get through the Lost Woods in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Korok forest is a vital location in Hyrule: it is home to the Deku Tree, which will give you a very important quest. On the way into the Korok forest Breath of the Wild was a confusing journey where you had to make your way through a labyrinth of smoke in the Lost Woods, but in Tears of the Kingdomis it slightly easier to see the Deku Tree, Hestu and the Koroks all in one place.

When you arrive at the Abandoned forests in conventional ways, you will come across a stone gate and a mist-covered forest. Every direction you take ends with the fog consuming you and spewing you out again at the entrance.

How to get through the Lost Woods to reach Korok Forest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

When you first arrive in the Lost Woods, you will see the forest covered in smoke and a ruined stone entrance. If you try to wander through the maze, the fog will surround you and teleport you back to the start. Instead of trying to go through the maze, you have to do that skip the Lost Woods all the way and traverse the depths.

Before going into depth, we recommend collecting some Brightbloom seeds to light the way.

Travel to the Minshi Woods Gorge located on the path to the Lost Woods on the coordinates (1063, 1655, 0167). Before diving into the canyon, place a pin in the middle of the Korok forest to help you go into the depths. Dive into the canyon and start heading northwest towards the center of the Korok forest. Don’t forget to use your Brightbloom seeds to illuminate your surroundings and avoid the gloomthe oily substance, on the floor.

As you get closer to the pin, you start the ogre trees — trees with faces on them – similar to the trees in the Lost Woods. Climb to the top of the ogre tree to get one big poo, a nasty tear, on top of the tree. Follow the direction of the big kitty as they will lead you from treetop to treetop to a light root in the distance.

Jump off the ogre tree and soar to the undark-infested land in the distance. Proceed to the pin to get the Riconasum Lightroot at the coordinates (0410, 2131, -0592) and a large stone platform next to it. Stand on the stone platform at the top of the hill and use Ascend to move up into the Korok forest.
