How to get the Tingle Armor set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Tingle’s outfit may not be the strongest, but you can play everyone’s favorite fairy mode with it.

It’s possible to come across all three parts of the Tingle set just by wandering around, but you can get clues to their locations by picking up three Misko’s treasure side quests (as a result of completing another Misko side quest). You can also just skip to the locations and maps below if you want to get around the legwork.

Misko’s Cave of Chests side quest

The three Misko’s Treasures side quests that lead to Tingle’s gear become available after you complete the quest “Misko’s Cave of Chests” she quest in Eldin canyon.

Go to Cephla Lake Cave bee (2607, 1326, 0149). Outside you will find two brothers, Domidak and Prissen, frustrated at their inability to find treasure in the cave. There are many chests inside, and all but one of them contain only a single green rupee. They also give a hint on how to find the chest.

Turn around from the opening of the cave to find a dog hanging out in the brothers’ camp. Drop a handful raw meat – gourmet and premium meats also work, as do bird drumsticks – on the ground. Every time the dog eats a piece, a pink glow will appear above its head and it will like you a little bit more. After the dog has had enough, he goes into the cave.

Follow the dog inside and wait for him to lie down in front of a partially buried coffin. Use Ultrahand to pop it out of the ground and open it for the Ember pants. The brothers will show up and be disappointed, but they will also mislead you “Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity” side mission.

Go outside and talk to them again. After some argument they tell you three about it the old manuscripts of the bandit Misko – at a price of 100 rupees each. All three are about ‘the green clothes of a man who admired fairies’.

Hearing them will give you three riddles to solve and start three side missions – “Misko’s Treasure: Twin Manuscript”, “Misko’s Treasure: Pirate Manuscript”, And “Misko’s Treasure: Heroine Manuscript” – complete.

The riddle of “Misko’s Treasure: Twin Manuscript” your adventure log says:

In West Necluda, twins are ready to duel. Each contains a cave that faces the other. Show the sign of the little twin to the big twin to open the door to my treasure.

The “twins” referred to in Misko’s manuscript are the Dueling peaks in West Necluda. Popla Foothills Skyview Tower is the nearest. You are looking for some caves on the west side of the canyon between them. The big twin‘s cave — Dueling Peaks South Cave is relatively high on the south wall, and the little twins‘s cave — Dueling Peaks North Cave – is much lower on the north side.

Both cave entrances are hard to see, so you’ll have to look around a bit. If you have the Travel Medallion, go to Dueling Peaks South Cave first and drop a fast travel point at the entrance so you don’t have to climb all the way back up. Head to Dueling Peaks North Cave when you’re ready.

Dueling Peaks North Cave

When you enter Dueling Peaks North Cave on (1192, -1856, 0159), you will have to deal with a few Horriblins. Continue through the larger room at the back.

The “sign” mentioned in the clue is painted on the ceiling. Facing northwest, look up – the triangle is slightly isosceles with the longer tip pointing upwards.

Dueling Peaks South Cave

Climb back to Dueling Peaks at South Cave (1184, -1944, 0246) and enter. Immediately at the entrance you will have to deal with a Like Like.

Look above the Like Like and slightly to the right to find a ledge you can climb to. Do that.

Your task in the room you find is to recreate the Dueling Peaks North Cave pattern on the floor buttons here by placing stones on it. Place the four bricks on the buttons shown in the image above.

When the door opens, go inside and open the chest Tingles shirt.


Tingle’s Tights location // Misko’s Treasure: Pirate Manuscripts side quest

The riddle of “Misko’s Treasure: Pirate Manuscript” your adventure log says:

A forgotten pirate cave lurks at the foot of Cape Cales, overlooking the Necluda Sea. The short shrill song of the wind through the lips will open the way to my treasure.

The “Misko’s Treasure: Pirate Manuscript” is a bit more linear. Head to Cape Cales all the way east along the southern edge of East Necluda. It’s a bit of a trek east-southeast from Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower, or you can drop by from Kumamayn Shrine once you’ve unlocked it.

Look east from the top of the promontory (there’s a Korok hanging there) and jump off. Paraglide or dive almost all the way to the water. Go north a little and then look back to the west. You will see Cape Cales Cliffside Cave at the waterline.

Whistle to open the secret door.

Swim in and stand on the floating wooden panel. Hit the D-pad to whistle – the riddle’s “short, shrill song of wind through the lips” – and the back wall slides open.

Swim in and turn left to find a beach where you can stand to regroup. Use the two wooden panels there to make a raft and go to the pirate ship in the middle of the cave.

Take care of the Stalkoblins on the deck, then go to the boxes on the south side (back). You will find a chest hidden behind them Tights from Tingle.


Tingle’s Hood location // “Misko’s Treasure: Heroine Manuscript” side quest

Statues of the eight heroines stand in the desert. Enter the valley carved into Hemaar’s Descent and shine the light of day on the towering eighth. The path to the treasure will open before you.

When (the remains of) seven of the heroine statues are in the Gerudo Desert, go to the Statue of the eighth heroine in the Gerudo Highlands bee (-4365, -0510, 0464). The closest tower is Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, but Otutsum Shrine is even closer. You can also fall off Mayasiar Shrine in the air.

When you arrive, look north. Along the top of the canyone is a box containing three Zonai mirrors inside on a small ledge on the left (west) side, and a couple mirrors right on the ground.

For the “shine the daylight” portion of the riddle, find some sunshine nearby (wait until it’s daytime, if you must), grab a mirror with Ultra convenientand aim it so that the beam of light hits the sensor on the statue’s chest. A cave opens just above the sensor – its creative name Statue of the Eighth Hero Cave.

Inside the cave is full Gibdos. Electrical damage works great against them, but firework damage is a close second. Deal with them and then get the fan of the heap of sand on the right.

Use it to clear the sand from the hut in the center of the cave to reveal the chest Tingles hood.


Tingle Armor set upgrades and set bonus

You can use the Tingling set at a Great Fairy because it is already perfect.
