How to get the Evil Spirit Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Evil Spirit Armor is one of the hardest armor sets to find The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomwith each piece buried deep underground and locked behind it two layers of labyrinth puzzles. The full set increases your stealth and provides some decent defense buffs, but it also has a unique quirk: making bone weapons hit harder. These weapons don’t last long anyway, so wearing this armor set is a good way to get the most out of them before they shatter.

Our guide will show you where to find all three pieces of the Evil Spirit Armor – the Evil spirit greaves, Mask evil spiritAnd Evil Spirit Armor – in Tears of the Kingdom, plus advice on how to prepare for your trip. It’s a long one.

Tips for getting the Evil Spirit Armor Set

Before you start, make sure you bring at least five stamina elixirs to keep you going in the air labyrinths. If you have trouble with clues and get lost in the maze, you might want the Travel medallion and splash it to the top of the labyrinth before you start. After activating one of the ring keys, you can just quickly travel back to the top of the roof, run to the next one and repeat the process.

a Flux Construction III boss also waiting for you at the bottom of each labyrinth. These function the same as weaker Flux Construct bosses, but their attacks can easily deplete seven or more hearts if you don’t have an active defense buff or you haven’t upgraded your armor.

You may want to take a little extra wooden bundles And Hylian pine cones also going. Toss a pinecone into a campfire and it generates a powerful updraft that can help you move through the labyrinths more easily.

Keep that in mind while you can’t climb each wall in the air labyrinths, you can climb the walls shown above, using the small ledges as a fulcrum. It’s a handy way to get to the top and reorient yourself if you get lost.

Finally, I recommend a visit to the bottom of the Lomei labyrinth in Akkala first, even if you don’t complete the labyrinth puzzle at the time. You can get there by using Ascend at the end of the nearby beach cave, and the Gloom Hands and Phantom Ganon release the mighty gloomy club. Stick a Black Moblin or Horriblin Horn on that and you can take down a Flux Construct III boss in less than 10 hits. (Just be sure to cook up some Sunflowers first, because the Gloom Club will sour your heart.)

Evil Spirit Armor Legs Piece location

The Evil spirit greaves are tucked away in the depths below Labyrinth of North Lomeiwhich is in the extreme east of Hebra, where it was located Breath of the Wild. This is one of the less complex labyrinths to get through, and you can even get through the castle in the air with just one stamina wheel, as pretty much every route leads to the next key device.

Our North Lomei Labyrinth guide will lead you every step of the way. You can technically walk to the labyrinth in the depths, but the central section is closed off until you complete the aerial puzzles.

Once you’ve dived into the depths, cook or eat a meal that boosts your attack and head to the boss arena. Don’t fall for it just yet, though. You can fire two bomb flower arrows – or four, if you have a two-shot bow – and complete critical hits before the battle begins.

Evil Spirit Armor Head Piece location

The Mask evil spirit sits in the Labyrinth of South Lomei in the Gerudo Desert. This one is a bit trickier to get through, although our South Lomei Labyrinth guide will walk you through each part of the Earthly Maze and the Heavenly Maze.

Evil Spirit Armor Chestpiece location

The Evil Spirit Armor piece is in Lomei Labyrinth Island, north of the Ancient Tech Lab in Akkala. Our Lomei Labyrinth Island guide walks through each step of the maze, but you start by following the acorns to reach the center of the maze and activate the ring device.

Fire yourself into the air from the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and aim for the labyrinth. As with the other two, you eventually land on a small island with Zonai devices. Use the device there to reach the castle in the sky.
