How to get the Dark Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomyou can adopt a dark, edgy look, thanks to the Dark Armor Set.
The dark armor set doesn’t actually give you much defense than other armor sets, with each piece only adding three defenses. What’s more is that this set isn’t upgradable through Great Fairies, so it’s not a set you really want to wear in Hyrule.
However, it does give a steady bonus of increased walking speed at night if you wear all three together. (The Stealth Armor set, which can be purchased in Kakariko Village, also grants a night speed bonus when all three pieces are worn together.)
Where to find the Dark Armor in Tears of the Kingdom
You can only get this armor from negotiator statues. The first time you interact with a negotiator statue in Lookout Landing, you can use the Dark tunic for 150 cats. Around the Dark pants (which costs 200 cats), you need to find a total of three negotiator statues. You need to find five for the Dark hood (300 kitty).
Once you’ve found the negotiator statues and interacted with them, you’ll be able to purchase the pieces of the statue in Lookout Landing, so don’t worry if you don’t have the kitty handy when you first find the statues.
