How to get prestige in Black Ops 6
Prestige returns to BlackOps6 with new emblems and a lot of rewards.
Prestige in Call of Duty is essentially a rank reset system that gives you items and rewards to show off to your friends and other players.
BlackOps6 improves the prestige feature by allowing you to maintain it some of your progress as you progress, so you don’t have to grind as hard to get back to where you were. You’ll also be rewarded with plenty of in-game cosmetics every ten levels, so there’s something to look forward to in between gaining the next prestige.
If the rewards aren’t enough for you, you can take on the extreme challenge of surpassing the ten prestige levels and aiming for level 1000. In addition, you will receive a secret reward and perhaps even a tease for the next Call of Duty title.
The only problem is that it can be a little difficult to get in BlackOps6‘s menus, so let us help. Here it is how to get prestige BlackOps6what changes when you get prestige, and all the prestige rewards.
Black Ops 6 prestige level requirement
To gain prestige BlackOps6you have to achieve level 55.
After you reach level 55, a notification will appear on your screen asking if you want to prestige, so you can get prestige right away. However, since prestige is a manual process, you can wait if you wish.
How to get prestige in Black Ops 6
When you’re ready to get prestige in Black Ops 6, follow these steps:
- Select the “Barracks” tab in the main menu BlackOps6 multiple players.
- Click on the “Progress” button.
- Choose the “Prestige” option in the center of the screen.
- Hover over the available prestige level and press and hold the corresponding ‘Prestige Details’ button.
- Continue to the next screen and hold the button to reset your level and enter prestige.
What changes when you gain prestige?
Prestige works similarly to previous Call of Duty titles, losing a lot of your progress for a new emblem, but you can keep some of your progress BlackOps6.

After you achieve prestige BlackOps6the following changes will occur:
- Reset to level 1
- All level unlocks will be locked (except basic operators, emotes, zombie gobblegums and permanent unlocks)
- Loadouts are reset
- Battle stats reset to reflect your current prestige level (lifetime stats can be viewed in the battle record)
The following items are not reset:
- Weapon progression, camos and reticles
- Weapon builds
- Challenge progress and unlocks
- Store and Battle Pass content
- Operator and emote are unlocked
- Zombie Gobblegums

Once you have prestige BlackOps6you’ll earn rewards inspired by previous Black Ops titles. For example, the first prestige is based on Call of Duty: World at Warand features a zombie operator.
There are ten base prestige levels in total, with two bonus prestige levels for the dedicated Call of Duty players. Every prestige level will have that six rewards (except Prestige 1, which has seven):
- One permanent unlock
- Loading screen and social background
- GobbleGum pack
- Animated emblem
- Charm
- Blueprint or Operator skin
The permanent unlocks are given to you immediately after your prestige and give you the ability to do this Permanently unlock a single item of your choice. For example, if you unlock the AS VAL permanently, you can use it at level one instead of reaching level 55 again.
The remaining five rewards are distributed to you every ten levels (level 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50), and will always be in the order of loading screen, GobbleGum pack, animated emblem, charm, blueprint/operator skin.

Once you complete all ten prestiges, you become one Prestige masterwho is able to do so reach level 1,000 and unlock even more rewards, such as prestige icons from previous Call of Duty titles, operator skins and weapon blueprints.
