How to get Mrs. Mowz into your party in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Most of Mario’s companions are inside Paper Mario: The Millennial Door is unlocked as you complete the story, but there’s actually an optional companion that you might skip if you’re not paying attention: Mrs. Mowzthe fantastic mouse thief, requires a short side mission to unlock.

Ms. Mowz is great at literally hunting down treasure and stealing loot from enemies, so if that interests you, you’ll want to add her to your party. We detail below how to get mrs mowz in Paper Mario: The Millennial Door And where you can find the Elusive badge she requires.

How to unlock Mrs. Mowz in Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door

To unlock Mrs. Mowz, you must at least have the fourth star from the Creepy Steple. After this, her request appears in the Trouble Center (the building with the sheets of paper on it in eastern Rogueport). The request is “Elusive license plate!‘ and it was requested by ‘???.”

After you accept the task and go to the designated location (on the roof of Zess T.’s house, next to the badge shop), you will of course realize that it was none other than Mrs. Mowz who sent that request. She’ll wonder why she wants a specific badge in Hooktail’s Castle, but she can’t find it. That’s your job! Once you get the badge and return it to Mrs. Mowz, she will join your party.

Where to find the Elusive badge in Paper Mario: TTYD

The Elusive Badge itself isn’t super hard to find, but you’ll have to follow Hooktail’s Castle all the way to the top of the tower where you originally fought him. Once you’re up there, use Flurrie’s wind power in the center of the room, as follows:

She blows away a piece of paper covering a chest with the Elusive Badge inside. Nice! Take it and walk back to Mrs. Mowz on top of Zess T.’s house.
