How to get iron in lego fortnite
Iron is a resource you need to find in Lego Fortnite if you want to level up your village or craft better weapons and tools. Finding it will take some preliminary work, however, as it is only found in one biome.

How to get iron in lego fortnite
Iron is only found in the Frostlands biome – so you need to find a snow biome first. You know you're in the right place when you get cold and see snow everywhere. You will also see pine trees where you can gather frost pine wood.
Once you get there, all you have to do is find a cave. However, the Frostlands biomes are extremely cold, so you must prepare to survive:
- make a inner fire charm (3 wool threads, 5 cut ruby, 8 clear coreAnd 3 explosion core) – or two (the effect stacks) – when upgrading craft bench
- Make some spicy burgers (1 flower, 1 meatAnd 1 spicy pepper) at one grilling

In the caves of Frostlands, look for the dark gray, lumpy deposits: they're yours iron. You have a epic pickaxe (8 obsidian plates And 5 frost pine rods) to mine them.
Frostlands biomes are the same places you will find frost pine, malachiteAnd sapphire.
What you use iron for in Lego Fortnite
Iron is an important endgame resource and (currently) the only metal besides copper. You can convert it to iron bars at one metal smelter (3 explosion cores of rolling in desert caves, 15 clear coreand 35 obsidian plates of a stone crusher).
You use iron (and iron bars) to make it epic shovel, epic recurve crossbow, epic longswordAnd epic knight shield. You also need it for the epic charm of resilience and some of the nicer lighting options.
You will also need Iron and Iron Bars to upgrade villages in the Frostlands biome.
