How to get farm animals in lego fortnite
Farmers in Lego Fortnite will be happy to hear that you can now collect farm animals, and add them to your villages. After being taken to small sheds, they produce materials for you in exchange for food.
Below we explain how to unlock farm animals in Lego Fortnite and what types of resources they provide.
How to get farm animals in lego fortnite
To add farm animals to your Lego Fortnite village, you need to do the following:
- Range village level 2 to unlock the ability to build Animal houses.
- Place an Animal House (10 planks). After you place the house, you will learn how to make it Animal treats.
- Go to your grill and make a bunch of Animal Treats (5 vines and 3 corn).
- After finding wild animals (chickens, cows, pigsor sheep), give them the Animal Treat. They will start follow you for a short period of time.
- Return to your village and give the animal more treats if it stops following you.
- Communicate with the Animal House while the animal is still following you to assign the animal to the house. Each house can only house one animal, so you’ll have to build several if you want a lot of animals.
This means that the animal of your choice will remain there, as long as you have space for it in your village. They also sleep in their house at night, so you don’t have to worry about skeletons or monsters getting to them.
At village level 10 you can have up to seven animals in your village, but they also share their resident spots with regular villagers. That said, you might want to create a second farming village, separate from your favorite Fortnite characters, if you want to grab a bunch of animals.
What do farm animals do in Lego Fortnite?
In exchange for housing and food, the animals will produce several resources:
- Chickens: feathers and fertilizer
- Sheep: wool and fertilizer
- Pigs: mushrooms and fertilizer
You don’t have to give them Animal Treats either. Foods like corn and vines do fine, so be sure to put some in their animal houses to provide resources.
This is a great way to get a steady stream of resources instead of going out and killing the animals.
