How to get Bronze in Return to Moria

Bronze blocks are the second major milestone you need to get past The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. Once you’ve crafted a Steel Pickaxe and a larger backpack, it’s time to head to the titular (Mines of) Moria.

The mines provide many new resources to collect, which in turn unlock many new crafting recipes. Us Return to Moria guide will explain how to find Cooper and Tin ore and how craft bronze blocks.

How to make bronze blocks in Return to Moria

Ultimately, you’ll just be making bronze blocks in a forge, but you’ll need to do a few things first:

  • Reach the (shortcut to the) mines
  • Collect copper and tin ore
  • Build a bellows upgrade for your forge

Once you’ve done that, you can create as many bronze (and copper) blocks as you need. Let’s break down the steps in detail.

Reach the mines of Moria and collect copper and tin ore

The only trick to finding copper and tin ores Return to Moria reaches the mines themselves. In the Elvenkwartier you can Steel pickaxe and that lets you tunnel to the Shortcut to the mines.

In the mines, look for small boulders containing a whitish ore with red specks. These contain a small amount Tin ore. Tin ore does not occur in the large veins in wall deposits like other ores (at least here). It only shows up in these boulders.

Copper ore, on the other hand, behaves like the other ores you are familiar with. Note the green and red deposits. You can also find copper ore in boulders such as tin, but it is much more common in the standard wall deposits.

Build a bellows

Before you can do anything with your copper and tin ores, you’ll need to upgrade your forge with one Bellows on the Essentials & Crafting tab in the Build menu. You need 4 steel blocks, 8 ElfwoodAnd 4 hides.

Artisan bronze blocks

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, so all you have to do is drop it 3 Copper ore And 3 Tin ore in your Forge and then wait 45 seconds.

If you have Bronze Ingots you will unlock weapons like the Eregion spear And Last Alliance Maul or the Eregion shield.
