How to get armor piercing bullets in Helldivers 2

The more you play Hell divers 2the more you will have to use armor-piercing rounds to take down a variety of tanky enemies. All weapons have some level of armor penetration, but if you really want to take on the biggest insects and robots, you need some tough tools.

In this Hell divers 2 guide, we’ll explain what armor piercing bullets are and tell you how to get them.

What are armor piercing bullets in? Hell divers 2?

As you increase the difficulty Hell divers 2you will encounter Chargers, Bile Titans, Hulken, and more heavily armored enemies. You can defeat these enemies with standard weapons by targeting their weak spot (usually on their back). But the most efficient use of your time is to tag these enemies with weapons that can deal heavy damage to their armor.

If you shoot weapons without heavy armor-piercing bullets at armored targets, you get a ricochet symbol on your screen, telling you that those shots did no damage. If you want to shoot the target head-on, you need a weapon with “vehicle armor” in the description to shoot through the plate.

This system is there to make enemies like Chargers much more threatening and prevent you from simply burning your weapons Strategies on smaller enemies.

All your heavy armor piercing tools will come in the form of support weapons or stratagems.

If you want to defeat an enemy with heavy armor, your best bet is to blow him to smithereens with a Eagle air strike or the Orbital laser. However, these upgrades are difficult to aim at moving targets or take a long time to unlock for your character.

Even if you can blow up heavily armored targets, you want to be sure you can call in a support weapon that can handle their armor on demand. These weapons usually have a limited amount of ammo, but you can replenish them with a Resupply Stratagem or by calling another weapon into the field.

Here is a list of them Support weapons that can punch through heavy armor:

  • Railgun (Patriotic Administration Center)
  • Spear (Patriotic Administration Center)
  • Replaceable anti-tank (Patriotic Administrative Center)
  • GR-8 Recoilless Rifle (Patriotic Administration Center)

There are other support weapons that seem to do damage to these big targets, but these four specifically summon vehicle armor, which is what you’re looking for if you want to take out a Charger or a Hulk.
