Cord is a resource in Lego Fortnite that you must collect to craft items like the recurve crossbow and the grapple. Cord is harder to find ready-made, but is super easy to make yourself – once you have the right craft tools.

How to get a cord in lego fortnite
In my experience, I opened a few chests while exploring caves that contained cord. However, it's easier to just start making it. To do that, however, you need to create a spinning wheel.
How to Make a Spinning Wheel in Lego Fortnite
To make cord, you first need to make a spinning wheel. To unlock the Spinning Wheel Blueprint, you must upgrade your village to level three. To make one you will need 8 planks, 5 wooden bars, 5 woodAnd 5 dewclaws. Once you've created the spinning wheel, all you have to do is get some vines. The easiest way to get a lot of vines very quickly is to start cutting down shrubs. I just ran around cutting through bushes with my shortsword in the grassland biome. It only took me ten minutes to collect dozens of vines. and I collected dozens of vines in about ten minutes.
Once you have enough vines, go to the spinning wheel you created. You can now make cord. You will need 5 vines for each cord you make.
What do you use cord for in Lego Fortnite
Cord is quite a useful resource that is needed for various items. To start, you can use a cord to tie the regular recurve crossbowthe grapplerand the knight shield. You also need a cable to create a resource called drawstringwhich is used to make the unusual and rare versions of the recurve crossbow. If you want to be a marksman, you definitely need plenty of cord.
