How to find the exact location of a product in Bunnings: Aussie man reveals secret trick he uses to speed up his trips

A Bunnings customer has revealed a 'life-saving' hack that will tell you exactly how to find the product you're looking for in seconds.

Many Australians often have difficulty locating purchases in the huge warehouse and spend a lot of time wandering around the store.

Josephfrom Queensland, recently shared that learning to read bay numbers is the key to cutting your shopping time in half.

“If you're ever in Bunnings and the app directs you to the bay but you don't know where it is, you need to look at the stickers on every plank,” he said in a video.

The Bunnings identification code is aisle number followed by bay number – and Joseph used an example of aisle 11 and bay 15 at his local Bunnings, which had '011015' on the sticker.

The stickers are usually placed at eye level at the beginning of each bay.

Because they work the same way as addresses in Australia, the even numbers are on the right and the odd numbers are on the left of the aisle.

Many thanked Joseph for sharing his helpful tip.

'Thank you! I usually walk up and down until I find the product,” one person said.

“Someone finally cracked the code!” another wrote.

“The best thing I ever did was start searching for what I wanted and then look at the island and bay number,” one woman said.

“If you use the Bunnings app you will get a map of which bay the item is in,” one person advised.
