A man has sparked a fierce debate online after claiming his water bottle trick can expose someone to be unfaithful.
Daniel Hentshcel, from Los Angeles, went viral on TikTok over the weekend when he shared his unusual way of evaluating partners.
The social media star, who has 995,000 followers on the platform, urged viewers to buy a bottle of water from a charity shop.

Next, he recommended placing it somewhere in your partner’s car and pretending you found it yourself.

He continued: ‘Use this exact phrase. This only works if they think you think it’s theirs.
If they have nothing to hide from you, Daniel says the couple will have no problem telling him it’s not his bottle.
He added: “They’ll admit they don’t know whose it is because you’ve made them feel like you trust them.”
Alternatively, the social media star says that someone who is being unfaithful in a relationship will have no problem lying about the water bottle.
He explained: “If they’re cheating, they’ll play along and pretend it’s theirs.”
Plus, Daniel says the method would also work in your partner’s room or at home.
Daniel’s video has amassed over seven million views in the last 24 hours and has divided viewers.
Daniel says that if your partner lies and says that the bottle belongs to him, then he is more likely to hide other things from you in the relationship.
