How to find knotroot in Lego Fortnite

Button root is a resource you need to find Lego Fortnite if you want to level up your village or make better weapons and tools. However, it is not immediately clear where you can find it.

How to find knotroot in lego fortnite

Knotroot grows in caves, so to find knotroot you first have to find a cave. That's really just a matter of wandering around until one appears on your map.

In caves you will probably find a lot of normal wood, but what you are looking for are the gnarled roots: those are knotroot. Since it's a root (it's right there in the name), they grow through the walls and ceiling. If they're out of reach, you can always grab some of that regular wood to build a staircase.

To collect (or even damage) knotwood, you need a rare forest axe (or better). To make one, you will need 3 bones (of killing skeletons) and 3 wooden bars (from a sawmill).

What you will use knotroot for in Lego Fortnite

Knotroot is a kind of gateway resource that unlocks a new level of items. You can use knotroot bars from a sawmill unusual pickaxe to mine marble or a unusual longsword for taking on enemies.

Pollard wood itself is also one of the raw materials you need for this upgrade your village to level 4.
