By means of Dredging, you will be asked to collect items and fish for people living in the archipelagos around The Marrows. These are often straight forward and ask you to just drag around the area and fish for items. But some of these things are harder to find than others; the Researcher’s Pursuit calls for a fish that needs more than just a fishing rod: the Aurora Jellyfish.
The Researcher is located in the old fortress in the Stellar Basion, the series of islands in the southwest corner of Dredging‘s card. She is researching the monster in the middle of the islands – oh, yes… watch out – and needs three fish: glowing octopus, Glowworm SquidAnd Aurora Jellyfish. The first two are relatively easy; if you sail around the island at night and fish in different spots you will easily catch a few.
But the Aurora Jellyfish doesn’t show up, because that requires another piece of equipment: a trawl.

Where do you find a trawl net Dredging
You can buy a Trawl Net if you don’t already have one, and you can upgrade it with Research Parts. At the Stellar Basin you’ll want to equip the trawl and just sail around the coastal areas of the island. Make sure it’s night time. It may take a few minutes, but if you’re in the right area, you’ll eventually catch an Aurora Jellyfish. Dredging makes a little thing sound if something is caught in your net, but if you haven’t caught one yet you will be notified that it has also been added to your Encyclopedia.
Return these three to the investigator to continue the questline. Don’t wait too long to get them delivered – if they rot, they’re no good. That’s where she’ll put you on another mission to pick some gear. This gear is important as it unlocks the ability to catch fish in Abyssal spots.
