You can double memories in Elden Ring‘S Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, just like you could do in the base game. This essentially gives you the ability to get multiple weapons or spells from a given DLC Remembrance boss.
unlike Elden RingHowever, there are no bell-ringing Wandering Mausoleums lurking in the shadows. Instead, there are stationary ones stone coffin altars spread across the Shadow of the Erdtree map that are easily accessible, especially as you progress through Count Ymir’s questline.
Us Elden Ring guide will show you how to duplicate memories in Shadow of the Erdtreeand at all three locations you can find stone coffin altars to do this.
How to Duplicate Remembrance in Elden Ring DLC
Similar to the Wandering Mausoleums in Elden Ring, you have to interact with an altar that looks like a stone coffin with a headless corpse on it. unlike Elden Ring, you don’t have to take down the various Wandering Mausoleums to access these altars. If you find one, just interact with it and select ‘Examine Remains’ to continue. From there, all you have to do is select which Remembrance boss you want to duplicate.
There are 10 new Remembrance bosses to fight in the Elden Ring DLC. Every stone coffin altar in Shadow of the Erdtree will duplicate only one memory. After using one, they become inactive. There are three stone coffins in the Shadow Realm, meaning you can duplicate a total of three boss memories.
Here you will find all three Remembrance duplication sites Shadow of the Erdtree.
Finger ruins of Rhia stone coffin altar site
In Rhia’s Finger RuinsOn the southwest side of the crater is a stone coffin altar, resting on a ridge. The nearest place of grace is Finger Ruins of Rhia, which can be accessed northeast from the Cerulean Coast Cross Site of Grace. The stone coffin altar location is surrounded by Fingercreepers of all shapes and sizes, so be careful how you approach it.
Finger ruins of the Dheo stone coffin altar site
In Finger Ruins of Dheo, a stone coffin altar stands on the northwestern edge of the peninsula. From the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace, head east to reach it. Again, watch out for Fingercreepers in the area.
Cathedral at the site of the stone coffin of Manus Metyr
The third and final stone coffin altar, the memorial duplication site, is located southwest of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. You don’t have to worry about Fingercreepers here, but there are some Marionette Soldiers around.
