A description on the app’s page reads: ‘How would you like to find love in the sun? ITV2 is looking for vibrant singles from all over the UK who want to go to the sun for love!

“The cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know each other, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.

‘If you think you have what it takes, then we want to hear from you right away.’

Applications are currently open and will remain so, until ITV announces a closing date on the Love Island website.

Kai and Sanam were crowned winners of Love Island Winter 2023 on Monday night, beating out original couple Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins for the £50k cash prize.

After eight weeks of drama, viewers chose the social worker and physical education teacher, who fell in love during Casa Amor, as their champions.

The occasion marks the first time a Casa Amor bomba has entered the show and taken victory in the show’s eight-year history.

The couple, both 24, gasped when presenter Maya Jama announced the results during the final live in South Africa.

Tom Clare, 23, and Samie Elishi, 22, took third place in the competition, while airport security officer Shaq Muhammad, 24, and Tanya Manhenga, 22, were the first out .
