Theo James’ wife Ruth Kearney received a huge amount of support last month when her husband took part in a very steamy photoshoot with another woman.

The 39-year-old White Lotus star was filming a commercial for Dolce & Gabbana, in which he stripped down to a pair of tiny white swim trunks and share a passionate kiss with bikini-clad model Vittoria Ceretti.

The footage has generated widespread sympathy, with fans joking that Ruth must be “stronger than Superman” to endure her husband’s racy embrace with another woman.

However, Ruth and Theo were able to prove that there was no problem with the photoshoot, as they were spotted on Monday during a day out to a garden centre.

The couple, who have been together for almost two decades, looked in high spirits as they enjoyed a relaxing time in the UK following Theo’s trip to Capri for filming.
