While some might assume that being a royal just looks perfect, these ladies have effortlessly swapped dresses and tiaras for military attire.

From the Princess of Wales, 41, to Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, the glamorous ladies of Europe’s royal families have rocked their country’s military uniforms while on the field with their servicemen.

And Princess Leonor of Spain, 17, will follow in her father’s footsteps and start military school from September.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium has been looking flawless in uniform since she began her military training at Belgium’s Royal Military Academy in 2021.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, meanwhile, can often be seen in camouflage from head to toe as she observes the work of the Swedish troops and takes part in their maneuvers.

In Norway, Princess Ingrid Alexandra practices her skydiving skills as part of her military training.

And Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and the Duchess of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom have mastered the art of looking good in camo, thanks to their many contacts with the military.
