How Taylor Swift reacted to Travis Kelce’s home burglary after thieves raided Chiefs star’s $6million mansion

Taylor Swift is relieved she and Travis Kelce weren’t home when the Kansas City Chiefs star’s mansion was burglarized last month, according to reports.

Kelce and Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes’ properties in Kansas City were both targeted by thieves in early October. TMZ Sports unveiled on Tuesday.

Just hours after a burglary at Mahomes’ Missouri pad on October 6, Kelce’s lavish $6 million home in Leawood, Kansas was robbed on October 7 – the same day the Chiefs defeated the New Orleans Saints in Arrowhead as Swift watched from the grandstand .

An estimated $20,000 in cash was stolen from Travis’ home, while his back door was also damaged. It is unclear if anything was taken from Mahomes’ property. The FBI is now investigating both incidents, amid indications that they are related to other incidents in different jurisdictions.

According to Page sixSwift feels “grateful” that she and Kelce were away when his six-bedroom home was looted.

“She is thankful no one was hurt and neither of them were home during the robberies,” says a source close to the pop megastar.

The burglary at Kelce’s property was reported to police sometime on October 8.

An FBI spokesperson would neither confirm nor deny the existence of the reported investigations when contacted by DailyMail.com.

But their involvement in the case reportedly suggests that this is not a local-level burglary, but could involve organized crime that crosses state lines.

Swift was busy cheering on Kelce and Mahomes at Kansas City’s Monday Night Football game with New Orleans the day her boyfriend’s house was burglarized.

In a 26-13 victory for the hosts, who maintained their undefeated start to the season, Mahomes completed 28 of his 39 passes with 331 yards and an interception. Kelce, meanwhile, had nine catches for 70 yards.

The latter moved into his 17,000-square-foot estate in Leawood shortly after his high-profile romance with Swift went public last year in a bid for more privacy.

DailyMail.com then revealed in November 2023 that the pop megastar had joined him in the luxurious six-bed, six-bathroom pad.

Sun loungers are spread across the paved area surrounding the pool, with a dining table on the patio, while to the side what appears to be a fire pit. A wide balcony is also accessible from the second floor.

Inside, there is a large chef’s kitchen to indulge Swift’s love of homemaking and baking.

Kelce’s home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a gated community just 20 minutes from Arrowhead.

Mahomes and wife Brittany moved into their Belton mansion in 2020. The property now has a practice football field and a golf course.
