Poltchageist And Sinistcha two tea Pokémon have been introduced Pokémon Scarlet And purple: The teal mask DLC.
These are spin-offs of the existing Pokémon Sinistea and Polteageist, although they are completely separate Pokémon and not regional forms.
To add to the confusion, Poltchageist and Sinistcha are similar to Sinistea and Polteageist, but they evolve… in reverse. Sinistea evolves into a Polteageist, but Poltchageist evolves into Sinistcha. Understood? OK.
These Japanese tea versions of the beloved Pokémon are grass and ghost types, and if you want to add them to your collection you’ll need the DLC (or have a friend willing to trade you).
We explain both below where to find Poltchageist locations And how to evolve Poltchageist into Sinistcha.
Where can you find Poltchageist in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Poltchageist can only be obtained naturally if you have it The teal mask DLC – otherwise you’ll need someone to trade one for you.
You can find Poltchageist locations in the places below:
We recommend using one ghost type encounter sandwich. We use the “Salty Jambon-Beurre”, which uses butter, ham and Salty Herba Mystica.
Poltchageist formal differences explained
Like Sinistea, you can get two forms of Poltchageist, but they are pretty much the same. There is a common one “False form” and rarer “Masterpiece / Authentic Form”.
In terms of combat they are the same. The only difference is that the ancient form has a special seal on the bottom of the Pokémon. You’ll also need different items to evolve Poltchageist depending on which form you have.
You can see the shape differences thanks to MasterDarkwingz on Twitter.
How to evolve Poltchageist into Sinistcha
To evolve Poltchageist into Sinistcha, all you need to do is use an item depending on which version of Poltchageist you have.
To develop Counterfeit Form Poltchageist, you will need the Unremarkable Teacupwhich you can find in the northwest of Kitakami, in a cave south of the third sign you need to find in the story:
To develop Masterpiece / Authentic Form Poltchageist, you will need the Masterpiece Teacupwhich you can find in the northeastern part of Kitakami in a cave behind a Snorlax:
Once you have the item in question, you can evolve Poltchageist by using the item from your inventory, the same way you would with an evolution stone.
If you don’t have that The teal mask DLC, it allows you to ask a friend to trade your Poltchageist and Sinistcha for use in your game.
