Donald Trump has lashed out at former Vice President Mike Pence for appearing to be friends with his main rival for the Republican nomination, Ron DeSantis.
The Florida governor met with Pence Friday at a hotel in Buckhead, Georgia, at an event for presidential candidates hosted by conservative talk radio host Erick Erickson.
‘How nice, really a wonderful reunion! Three people I’ve unquestionably elected, two governors and a vice president, Brian Kemp of Georgia, Mike Pence of Indiana, and Ron DeSanctimonious of Florida,” the former president wrote on his Truth Social media platform on Saturday.
Trump said they met “most likely to talk about the ‘weather,’ or maybe to discuss how to stop Georgia’s armaments bill, working with the DOJ and others, against their absolute favorite president of all time, ME.
“All three have been just amazing, so loyal and kind. It’s great to have friends like that!’ he raged.

Pence and DeSantis allegedly discussed DeSantis’ recent appearance at the Iowa State Fair and the first primary debate next week
DeSantis met with Kemp and Pence in an effort to strengthen relations with other leading Republicans alienated by Trump.
DeSantis remains in second place for the Republican nomination, but his polls have fallen in recent weeks and his campaign has been beset by financial difficulties.
The trio reportedly discussed DeSantis’ recent appearance at the Iowa State Fair and the first primary debate next week, two people familiar with the conversation said Politico.
Pence and Trump parted ways after the then-Vice President refused to help Trump block Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.
Kemp became the center of Trump’s anger over his opposition to overturning the results of Georgia’s 2020 election.
Earlier this week, Kemp tore up Trump’s false allegations of voter fraud in Georgia, writing: “For nearly three years, no one with evidence of fraud has come forward — under oath — to prove anything in a court of law.
“Our elections in Georgia are safe, accessible and fair and will remain so for as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus.’
The rally comes just weeks after Trump was indicted in Georgia for trying to overturn the election results in the state.

Fani Willis, the district attorney for Fulton County, Georgia, secured a 41-count grand jury indictment earlier this month, telling a press conference that the indictment alleged “violations of Georgia law arises from a criminal conspiracy to results of the elections in this state.’
Trump called her “an out-of-control and highly corrupt prosecutor” and said the allegations were part of a “witch hunt.”
The case – which relies on laws commonly used to take down mobsters – is the fourth time this year against the 77-year-old Republican and could mark a turning point, the first televised trial of a former president in the history of the US.
He was charged along with 18 others – Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Mark Meadows, Ken Cheseboro, Jeffrey Clark, Jenna Ellis, Ray Smith III, Robert Cheeley, Michael Roman, David Shafer, Shawn Still, Stephen Lee, Harrison Floyd, Trevian Kutti , Sidney Powell, Cathleen Latham, Scott Hall and Misty Hampton.
If convicted on all charges, Trump faces 71 years in prison — and state charges, unlike federal ones, cannot be pardoned by a president.
