How much Bella Varelis’ face has changed since her appearance on The Bachelor as reality star takes Nicole Kidman’s niece’s job
Bella Varelis has undergone a makeover since her days on The Bachelor — and her career has soared to new heights.
This week it was announced that the 30-year-old, who came second on Locky’s Gilbert’s season of the dating show in 2020, will be the new local host and face of Live From E! red carpet events in Australia.
She replaces outgoing host Lucia Hawley, Nicole Kidman’s niece and her sister Antonia’s daughter.
Bella has seen some big changes to her appearance in recent years: She’s set to undergo a rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery in one eye in 2022.
At the time, the star admitted she had been ‘lying’ to her fans for ten days and using old photos on social media to hide her surgery.
“Don’t be mad at me, but I’ve been lying to you for the past ten days. Everything you saw on my social media was fake,” she said in a video on YouTube.

In the clip, she had a bandaged nose, bruised eyes and surgical scars that were healing.
Bella told fans she used Dr Scott Turner in Sydney’s Bondi and spent a total of $12,873 on a mini rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery in one eye.
The brunette said she did a lot of research on her surgeon and didn’t go for the ‘more popular’ option because the person she chose just ‘clicked’ with her.
‘I didn’t actually have a full rhinoplasty. I only have a mini rhinoplasty. I got a tipplasty, which was just a tip reconstruction,” she explained.
‘I didn’t break my nose, which happens when you get a full rhinoplasty. You can shave a little, which I did, but I didn’t break my nose.’
She added: ‘I also got my eye done. I had one eye where my eyelid was a little lower than the other, and he said, ‘Oh my God, I can fix that for you.’
Bella posed sideways to compare her new look to her former nose and said the end result would have more of a “little scoop.”
She added that “once that goes up, this is what it should look like.”

“For me, this was something that I always wanted to change since I was 15,” she said at the time
Since then, Bella’s new nose has settled in and her refined facial features have led to new opportunities.
She first debuted her bandaged nose in an Instagram post, saying, “My little nose got a little freshened up.”
“I debated for a long time whether or not I wanted to speak about this publicly because it was quite personal to me,” she continued.
“But I love being open about my life, so here I am, completely transparent about the surgery, because I believe you deserve it.”
“Just a reminder: everyone is beautiful in their own unique way and each person’s happiness comes in different forms,” she added.
“For me, this was something that I always wanted to change since I was 15.
‘I still loved the way I looked before, and my self-love wasn’t dependent on this change, I just preferred the change it would bring to my face.
“It’s a sensitive topic and everyone will have their own opinion, but I don’t give energy to negativity or rudeness, so don’t even bother trying,” the former reality star concluded.
