How Lily Allen was left in ‘agony’ after turning detective to discover her Stranger Things husband David Harbour was looking for other women on celebrity dating app
Lily Allen turned amateur sleuth after suspecting her husband of cheating, and was left in ‘agony’ when she discovered the actor had a secret profile on celebrity dating app Raya, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
Pop star Allen, 39, played detective by joining the app herself and pretended she was ‘looking for women’ – only to discover her husband David Harbour, 49, had already set up a dating profile. It was listed in the app as active for at least a month.
Raya is so exclusive that it only accepts about 8 percent of applications, but it has more than 10,000 members, 100,000 of whom are on the waiting list. Once users find a new partner, they usually disable their profile.
A source said: ‘Lily was looking for women who were on Raya and compared them to women David follows on Instagram to try and work out who he was seeing. She was doing her Wagatha thing.”
Former England football star Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen was famously dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’ after turning online detective to expose fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy as the apparent leaker of stories about her.
Allen, 39, met Harbor on Raya in 2019 and they both deleted their accounts after a whirlwind romance, before getting married in Las Vegas a year later.
A source told The Mail last night: ‘Lily only got back together with Raya to try and find out if he was seeing anyone.
‘Lily hasn’t even looked at anyone since she met David. She’s devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago. He was supposed to be on holiday with her in Kenya for Christmas.’

The singer has not made any public statements about her relationship with Harbor since it emerged they parted ways last month, but a friend of the Smile hitmaker confirmed they had officially ‘parted’.
Harbour’s dating profile, exclusively revealed by the MoS, reads: ‘Visiting New York from Atlanta’ and ‘closet nerd playing tough guys on your TV’.
He calls his profile song Houses Of The Holy by Led Zeppelin.
Harbor describes herself as living in Atlanta, Georgia, 800 miles from the family home in Brooklyn, New York, where the couple moved in 2020 while Allen enrolled her children in local schools.
Last year he bought a house in Atlanta so he could be closer to the Stranger Things set.
The show is currently filming its fifth and final series. Allen’s circle of friends in London say she has believed since the fall that her husband is interested in other women.
By the time the couple broke up about a month ago, she had become convinced he had a secret girlfriend.
A source said: ‘Lily believes he has been open to meeting new people for a while, although she only found out at the end of the summer.

Allen’s social media sleuthing revealed that Harbor was in India last week and was reportedly seen with another woman on Thursday at a temple in Rishikesh, in the Himalayan foothills. He and the woman were accompanied by a guide.
Harbor posed for a photo with a fan at the temple, although he made sure his friend, described as “not blonde, very slim and between 22 and 30 years old,” did not appear in the frame.
One fan expressed his surprise on social media after seeing Harbor in India, saying: ‘Stranger things happen.
“Now I have the coolest story to share: that time I strolled the hallowed streets of Rishikesh with David Harbor and reflected on life.”
At the time, Allen was 2,500 miles away in Kenya, vacationing without David and instead laying low with her children.
She missed a party with showbiz friends, including beauty entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury and singer James Blunt, on the popular tourist island of Lamu.
A source on Lamu said Allen resisted participating in the celebrity bash.

On Thursday’s episode of the podcast, she revealed that she is “ready to move on” and plans to “get her head straight” in January.
A friend said: ‘The last few months have really been an ordeal for Lily. He finally called it off a month ago and she is devastated.”
A spokesperson for Allen declined to comment. Harbor did not respond to requests for comment.
