Fitness star Kayla Itsines has revealed how she keeps her white sneakers looking new.

Fans of the workout queen with 16 million Instagram followers have always wondered how Kayla keeps her sneakers so sparkling white, so she shared her simple shoe cleaning method.

The 32-year-old keeps her shoes spotless by using four simple household items; stain remover, washing powder, a sponge and old towels.

Kayla scrubbed the shoes and then put them in the washing machine on a cold cycle, after which they looked like new.

“These shoes were so dirty. I just cleaned them and I'm going to show you how I did it because I get questions about this all the time,” she said on Instagram. video.

Once they are “very damp,” Kayla rubs the stain remover over the sneakers and scrubs them well with the sponge.

“You're just going to put them in the washing machine with a pile of old towels,” she explained.

Putting towels in the washing machine prevents the sneakers from hitting the drum and bouncing around.

Once the cycle ends, Kayla reveals that her shoes are “perfectly” white again.
