How Justin Mohn who ‘decapitated his own father’ tried to sue the US government for $10M claiming he should have been warned he would stay unemployed as an ‘overeducated white man’ despite taking out huge student loans

The man suspected of beheading his father and posting a video showing the severed head during an unhinged political tirade launched a daring $10 million lawsuit against the US government in 2020.

Justin Mohn, 32, alleged in his lawsuit that the government misled him and his parents about the risks associated with his student loans, since as an “overeducated white male” he would not be able to find work.

On Tuesday evening, Mohn was taken into custody in Pennsylvania, hours after his father, Michael Mohn, 68, was found decapitated in his home in a quiet suburb of Philadelphia. The suspect is charged with murder and abuse of a corpse.

According to his lawsuit, filed in Colorado, Mohn took out his student loan in 2010, which he used to pay for his education at Penn State. In 2014 he graduated in Agribusiness Management.

Mohn claims that “the Department of Education encourages high school students to attend college, but does not advise white male students about the risks of a college education financed with student loans,” he writes in the lawsuit.

Mohn goes on to say that he was unable to find work due to “affirmative action,” which resulted in him being forced to move back and live with his parents. Police in Pennsylvania say the suspect was living at home at the time his father was killed.

The suspect said he started paying back loans of $80 a month six months after he graduated in 2014. A year later, he moved to Colorado to work for a credit union.

He says in the lawsuit that having to pay back the $80 has caused him “harm to his quality of life.”

In October 2016, he began working at another job for higher pay, but was “fired from that position at an undisclosed time.” As a result, he suffered a ‘snowball effect’ of debt.

He goes on to say that his $12,000 in debt has negatively impacted his credit score.

In 2020, Mohn self-published a book about a man who moves to Colorado Springs, Colorado, entitled The Second Messiah: King of Earth.

The main character “slowly and painfully discovers Colorado’s dark secret involving a widespread satanic cult, the Democratic Party, and the Cold War. Ultimately, Buster gets more attention than he thought possible for any artist, but not in the way a normal celebrity does – in the way a religious icon does.”

Mohn says the book is “loosely based” on his life in Colorado.

In the 2022 lawsuit, Mohn says this is the third time he has tried to sue the U.S. Department of Education and Secretary Miguel Cardona.

Mohn claims that Cardona failed to advise him on the “risks and suitability of student loans for a college education.” during the process of his loan application/origination, which constitutes fraud.”

The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice, meaning the claim cannot be refiled.

After failing to find work, Mohn appears to have wanted to build a career as a musician and author.

On his YouTube page he writes: ‘Justin Mohn released his first album, ‘The Story Of Humanity’, in September 2017. His second album, ‘Colofunkinrado’, was released in September 2018. His music style is a mix of rock, funk and hip hop, which use piano and organ as the primary instruments, along with explicit lyrics, drums, synthesized bass, and other synthesized instruments.”

Mohn also wrote poetry and conspiracy-laden manifestos.

One of his books was titled, “Poems I Wrote While Stoned: A Collection of Poems.”

Another, ‘The Punishing’, is set in the year 2481, in which Satan rules the world.

“Having rejected their Messiah and strayed from the word of God, humanity falls under the complete control of Satan and his minions – a race of artificially modified humans, who no longer call themselves Homo Sapiens, but rather Homo Demonicus,” reads the blurb.

Another seemed to give a preview of his twisted plan, titled: “America’s Coming Bloody Revolution.”

The blurb reads: ‘Similar to Thomas Paine’s ‘Common Sense’, published in 1776 and which inspired the American Revolution, the short, easy-to-understand pamphlet explains why another revolution is likely in America… and how this could be successful.’
