  • Madison takes advantage of “side business” and can earn up to $1400 a month

A mother of two shared how she earns extra money every month.

Madison, from Melbourne, earns a whopping $1,400 from home thanks to easy “side jobs” that anyone can pick up.

In July, the 27-year-old earned $1,097.95 by taking surveys, participating in market research, blogging, selling on Etsy, and using cashback apps ShopBack and Receipt Jar.

As the cost of expenses continues to rise in Australia, Madison took it upon herself to find ways to earn more money and has shared her experience through her website ‘Saving Like Mad’.

Last year, she claimed that she earned a whopping $19,668.11 from side hustles alone.

“We’re down another month and our expenses are up again… Thankfully, my busyness has certainly helped ease the pressure of the endless price hikes we’re being bombarded with,” Madison wrote on her blog.

She earned $319.30 by completing surveys, $227.50 by selling “Saving Trackers” on Etsy, $345 by completing market research, and $102.70 by blogging.

The smart mom also used rewards websites Cashback and Receipt Jar where she earned a total of $103.40.

Madison revealed that she spends an average of 1.5 hours every day taking surveys from websites like PureProfile, Octopus Group, PurplePatch, and Swagbucks.

On Etsy, she also sells several printable savings cards and financial sheets for just $2 each.

As for the market research, Madison claims she receives invitations to participate in surveys through AttaPoll and PurplePatch.

“I’ve been obsessed with market research lately. These include product testing, reviews, online diaries and mystery shopping. I really enjoy it because they usually pay huge amounts and I even get really cool freebies,” she wrote.

Few may be aware of the Receipt Jar app, where users can snap a photo of their receipt to earn points that can be exchanged for cash. Last month, Madison earned $5 doing this.

Others were “impressed” with the sideline income and thanked Madison for sharing the enlightening sketch.

‘Wow great work!’ one said, the other said, “Great!”
