The Estonian athlete competed in the decathlon, but struggled with the pole vault.

Tilga couldn’t find the right angle and hung in the air for several seconds before falling.

The 26-year-old performed better in other events, as he finished 11th overall in the decathlon, out of 20 competitors.

A video of the incident was posted online, with the caption: “I’m no expert at pole vaulting, but I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to be done.”
