What was said?

Heading into tonight’s game with West Ham, Guardiola revealed that the Hammers are capable of a good result at the Etihad.

“I can’t control the results of the others, I’m too busy working on what to do against West Ham tomorrow,” Guardiola said at his pre-match press conference.

West Ham may not have done the season they expected in the Premier League as they have for the past two seasons, but [David] Moyes has been exceptional and that doesn’t mean the quality isn’t there.

“I’ll look back a little bit at their games against Liverpool and Arsenal and I’ll watch the first game of the Premier League [season].

“The guns are there, they’re a good team, they didn’t have a good season like they expected, but the guns are there. I have no doubt that anything can happen in one game, so we absolutely have to be ready.”

Prediction

A win tonight will move City one point above Arsenal in first place. In addition, the team has one game credit against the Gunners.

Even without De Bruyne, players like Haaland and Alvarez will be enough to get the job done for Guardiola’s side.

As for the Hammers, the team has lost its last two games in a row and is only four points above the drop zone.

It will certainly be a tough task for the side to get the job done against a City side in shape.

Prediction: 4-0 Manchester City
