How much is The Block’s Danny Wallis REALLY worth?

Danny Wallis is known for his big spend and unique bidding style on The Block.

Dubbed the show’s “eccentric buyer,” he has no intention of dropping tens of millions worth of real estate.

And now the Melbourne-based IT entrepreneur’s total fortune has been revealed.

The eccentric wealthy lister has a reported net worth of over $120 million, giving him a lot of leeway when it comes to taking real estate.

Wallis sold his IT service management company DWS in September 2020 for $126 million to an Indian tech giant.

He donates the homes he buys to charities, including the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.

The businessman bought three houses this year and spent a total of $14 million at auction.

Wallis also bought three homes last year for a combined $12.25 million, and he will no doubt be back in 2023 with more outrageous bids.

In 2020, Danny bought three homes for a total of nearly $12 million, after making very generous bids on all five homes.

The Sydney-based best friends sold their home for $5,666,666 with a reserve price of $4.08 million – taking home a record $1.6 million in profit.

Despite being a staple on The Block, Danny admitted Monday that he doesn’t even tune in to watch the houses being built.

“They are my savior because it makes buying houses easier. But I don’t actually watch the show,” he told The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
