How Biden’s debate performance could spark World War III as China and Russia feel emboldened by his ‘message of incompetence’

President Joe Biden’s disastrous debates and subsequent questions about his competence and age send a “message of incompetence” to America’s most dangerous opponents, leading Republicans say.

Biden’s mumbling and incoherent debate performance raised alarm bells even among Democrats and liberal pundits, who rushed to say the president should consider not running for reelection — something Republicans have long said.

Now top GOP officials are raising the threat level even further, saying Biden’s mental state is so dangerous that China and Russia may want to strike.

And they say his cabinet should remove him from office via the 25th Amendment — something that has never happened before in history — before World War III breaks out.

US President Joe Biden often spoke weakly and barely used his allotted time to answer complex questions, often stopping with 30 seconds or more to spare. He also stood with his mouth open and squinted for much of the night, appearing confused

“(The) president’s actions sent a dangerous signal of incompetence that will only embolden our adversaries,” State Department Chairman Michael McCaul told DailyMail.com, adding: “The world is already on fire and (the debate) has only made it worse.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson (Republican from Louisiana) also expressed deep concern about the US’s position in the world.

“I’m concerned about what our adversaries are seeing,” he said Monday night on Jesse Watters’ Fox News primetime program.

Johnson then limited the damage by ensuring that opponents watching would not act after a cacophony of criticism of Biden’s competence.

“We must make one thing clear tonight: China, Russia, Iran and North Korea must understand that the United States military stands ready to respond at any time, regardless of the unrest surrounding the president.”

“America is strong, we will defend our interests and you don’t have to think about that,” Johnson continued.

And the concerns of the countries Johnson mentioned may be justified.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with the leaders of China, North Korea and Iran over the past seven months.

In December 2023, Iran’s late President Ebrahim Raisi traveled to Russia to talk to Putin about the war between Israel and Hamas.

In May, Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed Putin to Beijing for a meeting, where the two leaders signed an agreement to “further deepen mutual military trust and cooperation.”

Just two weeks ago, Putin visited North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un at his home and raced around in cars that looked like happy schoolmates. The images of the eastern leaders swept the internet and garnered a lot of attention.

After their ride, the UN and Putin also signed a military agreement.

It seems that America’s greatest adversaries have made remarkable progress in their mutual cooperation. This poses a clear threat to the US.

“Yesterday’s debate made clear to Americans, our allies and our adversaries: President Biden is not up to the task,” former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo posted on X the day after the debate.

“This goes beyond politics,” he added. “It’s a matter of national security.”

Biden should be removed from office so the country can respond to such growing threats, Johnson said.

“But in the meantime, we’re talking about the 25th Amendment because the fourth clause of the 25th Amendment has never been used.”

“That is when the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet members agree that the president is unfit and unable to continue to perform his duties.”

“I think that’s what we’re seeing here,” Johnson said.

And Americans seem to agree with the speaker.

Before the debate, 65 percent of respondents in a June 9 poll said Biden was not mentally fit to serve another four years. After the debate, that number had risen to 72 percent, according to a CBS News/YouGov poll.

Nearly half (46 percent) of Biden’s own party believes he should not run for president in 2024.

The speaker also said that Biden is unpredictable unless he is reading from a teleprompter and that he cannot be trusted to make presidential-level decisions.

“I don’t think he’s capable of making those big decisions. That’s something we all need to be concerned about and talk about.”

“I think people are grumbling about this privately. But I think desperate times call for desperate measures, and that may well be where we are at.”
