House of the Dragon viewers are left outraged by very graphic INCEST scene in latest episode of the HBO hit: ‘Next level disgusting’
Viewers of House of the Dragon were shocked by an extremely explicit incest scene in the latest episode of the hit HBO series.
Sunday night’s episode of the Game of Thrones spinoff series featured a very spicy moment that saw actor Matt Smith’s character get intimate with his own mother.
Immediately, ‘disgusted’ viewers ran to X, formerly Twitter, to share their opinions. They were not happy with the X-rated scene.
The explicit depiction showed Daemon Targaryen, played by Smith, having a very sensual dream about his mother, Alyssa Targaryen, while visiting the haunted castle of Harrenhal.
The dream began with him and his mother standing naked next to each other, before she leaned in to kiss him romantically on the forehead.

At one point, Daemon and his mother were seen passionately kissing as he wrapped his arms around her naked body. And at another point, they were seen performing oral sex
He is then seen caressing her shoulder and slowly running his hand down her arm before kissing her neck, while she talks to him about the battle for the crown and the time when his brother Viserys was king.
“Daemon, you were always the strongest,” she said. “The best swordsman. The fearless dragon rider.
‘Your brother had great love in his heart, but he lacked your constitution. Viserys was unfit for the crown.
“But you Daemon, you were made to bear it. If only you had been born first. My favorite son.”
At one point, Daemon and his mother, played by Emeline Lambert, were passionately kissing as he wrapped his arms around her naked body.
They were later seen having oral sex.
The scene ends with his mother lying lifeless on the bed and Daemon, who is married to his niece, Rhaenyra Targaryen, looking at his bloody hands in horror.
It was later revealed that the hallucination was planted in his head by Alys Rivers, who deliberately fools him into having dark visions.

Set nearly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series offers insight into the history of the iconic House of Targaryen, the former rulers of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
The fact that the intimate moment between mother and son took place only in Daemon’s mind did not dampen the outrage among viewers, many of whom took to social media to voice their criticism.
“Daemon having sex with his mother is absolutely disgusting,” someone wrote.
“I know the Targaryens have strange customs… but this is truly disgusting. Whose idea was this?”
“That was very strange and uncomfortable to watch,” added another.
“The sex scene distracts from the message they were trying to convey and doesn’t add much. Weird choice by the writing room,” someone else posted.
“That scene with Daemon and his mother was completely unnecessary,” another user agreed.
“The writers are so fucking insane for this,” a fifth tweet read, while a sixth said, “That scene with Daemon and his mom was [so] ‘traumatizing and strange.’
“House of Dragons, you guys need to take it easy on this incest,” someone else sneered.
“Tell me, folks, why I had to watch Daemon fuck his own mother in House of the Dragon,” wrote another uncomfortable viewer.
The scene was a hallucination put into Daemon’s head by Alys Rivers, who deliberately fooled him by forcing him to have dark visions.

“Boy House of the Dragon took darkness to a new level. I mean, incest is a part of history, but Harrenahl chasing Daemon and making him hallucinate and see himself eating his mother was something I didn’t expect,” another tweet read.
Viewers of House of the Dragon know that incest occurs in the series.
During the first season, Daemon became aggressive towards his much younger cousin, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, and eventually married her and had children together.
The series was created by Martin and Ryan Condal and is based on part of the 2018 novel Fire & Blood by George R. R. Martin.
