House fire in Orange in central-west NSW leaves one dead and three in hospital

A woman has died while a man and two children were rushed to hospital following a horrific house fire in central west NSW that left a harrowing scene.
Emergency services were called to the family home in Pimpala Place, Orange around 5:45 am on Saturday and found the house engulfed in flames.
A man escaped the blaze but suffered burns when he tried to enter the home to save two children and a woman who was still trapped
Firefighters entered the home and rescued two children who were pulled out.
Harrowing young cries can be heard as the children were treated by paramedics in the street for smoke inhalation.

The children were taken to Orange Base Hospital along with the man who suffered burns.
Firefighters found a woman in a front room of the house a short time later, but she was unable to revive.
All four are from the same family, police have confirmed.
The house suffered extensive damage with broken windows scattered across the street.
Black smoke billowed from the house, as neighbors watched in horror from the street.

A crime scene has been identified and an investigation has been launched
Specialized fire investigators and police enter the house when it is deemed safe.
It is not yet known what caused the fire.
