Australian actress Milly Alcock has given TikTok star Caleb Simpson a tour of her modest family home in the western suburb of Petersham, Sydney.
The House of the Dragon star, 23, showed Caleb around the small patio her mother rented in a Wednesday post.
However, one detail in the video surprised Simpson’s American viewers.
Many were shocked when Milly admitted her mother was paying ‘$1000 a week’ for the rental property.
“Did that say $1000 a week???” asked a stunned American fan.
“No one talks about how her mother pays 4,000 euros a month in rent,” another added.
‘Aud 4k per month??? Wow. Is this close to town?’ asked another viewer.
Although one commenter defended the amount, writing: ‘The rent is pretty good for Sydney and for the size of the house’.
Alcock first showed Simpson around the house’s small backyard before leading him through the dining room, living room and bedrooms.
The TikTok star was impressed by the open nature of the home’s design, saying: ‘How it opens up straight away is sick.’
Milly then showed him through her upstairs bedrooms and shared a behind-the-scenes secret about how she got cast in HotD.
‘I grew up in this house for fifteen years. I had one of my first meetings here for HotD and I sat in front of this light. “They kept making fun of me for my Christmas lights,” she said.

In 2022, Milly shocked her fans by revealing that despite the huge success of HotD, she will not star in another fantasy role.
The rising star, who played Rhaenyra Targaryen in the Game of Thrones prequel, said she is “grateful” for the freedom her role has given her to choose future projects, but said she will avoid similar projects in the future.

‘I don’t want to do something like that. I did it and I don’t need to do it again. I’m just waiting for the right project. I’m not in a hurry to jump on anything,” she told the newspaper Herald Sun.
‘I prefer not to work a lot and do work that I am really proud of and that I am passionate about.
“When you sign up for a project, you have to get used to talking about it for six months to a year of your life, so you want to make sure you really love it.”

“It was and still is really life-changing and I’m still adjusting and it’s all very strange,” she added.
