Manhunt for mystery driver after his outrageous act allegedly wrecks a funeral – before trashing another mourner’s car as he fled at high speed
A man who was performing burnouts at a cemetery in regional Victoria reportedly disrupted a funeral and fled, smashing the window of another car with rocks.
Police would like to speak to a man driving a distinctive grey Holden Commodore in connection with the incident in Horsham, 300km northwest of Melbourne, last week.
Police allege that after performing burnouts, the driver drove off the road and threw rocks at a car. A woman was in the car and the rear window was smashed.
It is alleged that the Commodore had no registration plates and that the driver was approached at the scene but subsequently fled.
Police have released images of the alleged driver and his grey Holden VE Commodore SS estate car, which features a yellow stripe or yellow ring on the tyre.
The incident took place near Horsham Cemetery at around 3pm on Monday 24 June.
Police allege the man was performing burnouts on Wawunna Road while a service was taking place at the cemetery.
The car continued on Davis Road, which borders the cemetery.

On Davis Road, the car left the road, sending large rocks crashing into parked vehicles, police said.
Police were told a woman was in one of the cars when the rocks smashed the rear window.
The woman was not physically injured.
The driver was spoken to but reportedly refused to provide his details and left the scene of the accident.
The man is described as having an average build with short brown hair and a short beard. He was wearing black pants, a black jacket and sunglasses.
Police are asking any witnesses or anyone with footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
