Horror workplace accident in Australia: Man fighting for life

A man is left fighting for his life after a horrific workplace accident left him trapped between a scissor lift and a wall.

The man in his 60s was seriously injured at a workplace in Torch Street, Ipswich, southeast Queensland, just before 7am on Thursday.

He was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries to his abdomen, chest and head.

The incident is said to have occurred near the entrance to Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School on the corner of Chermside Road and Queen Victoria Parade.

Staff called the scene ‘horrific’ Courier mail reports.
