Horror incident as mystery figures drive around Melbourne and shout sickening slur about ‘hunting’ Jews

Horror incident as mysterious figures roam Melbourne shouting vile ‘Jew-hunting’ slurs

Police are investigating reports that a car crashed in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra with passengers who told a man they were “hunting to kill Jews”.

Officers said a car pulled up to a man on Toorak Road near Williams Road and made the threats about 4pm on Tuesday.

Detectives from the Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit are investigating reports of alleged threats.

“There is absolutely no place in our society for anti-Semitic or hate-based behavior and Victoria Police is committed to responding to any such acts,” a police spokesman said.

The shocking report follows an illegal pro-Palestinian rally held in Sydney on Monday night after Hamas terrorists killed hundreds in Israel last weekend.

Police are investigating reports a car pulled over in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra (pictured) and the occupants told a man they were “hunting to kill Jews”

The man who claims he was subjected to the abuse made a recording 10 minutes after he said it happened.

Daily Mail Australia has heard the recording, in which the man said: “There was just a car full of four little Arab boys telling me to close the window.

“They asked me … ‘Do you know where the Jews are?’ I go ‘No, I don’t know where the Jews are, but why?’

“They were like, ‘I don’t know what we’re going to do with them when we’re done with them,’ and the guy in the back was like, ‘We’re on a hunt to kill Jews.’

“I made a report to CSG (Community Support Group, a local Jewish organization), I made a report to the police,” said the man who made the recording.

“These guys look like they were scary,” he said.

Talking about the situation on the Melbourne radio station 3AWpresenter Neil Mitchell said: “It could be a car full of idiots who think they’re being funny, it could be a real threat.

“Anyway, it’s a terrible thing to do on the streets of Melbourne in this atmosphere.”

Mitchell added: “That’s one thing we have to dispute… whether there was malicious intent or they thought they were being funny, we don’t know.

“But even if it’s the latter, it’s bad enough.”

A caller to the show said there are private Jewish schools in the area where the alleged incident took place.

“My daughter knew the person in the car and she came home very, very upset,” the caller said.
