‘My knees buckled!’: horror fans keep ‘screaming at the TV screen’ over terrifying shark movie
Horror fans are wrestling with fear after watching the shark survival movie 47 Meters Down.
The thriller, starring Claire Holt and Mandy Moore, first came out in 2017 and has seen a new wave of viewers since it was released on Netflix.
In the film, Mandy plays Lisa, a woman who goes shark diving in Mexico with her sister, only to have their protective cage detached from the boat that was taxiing them.
They are surrounded by a pod of great white sharks and have a limited supply of oxygen in the suspenseful thriller.
Her sister Kate in the film is played by Australian actress Claire Holt, best known for her role in The Vampire Diaries.
