“However, a dark secret from the house's past soon unleashes a malevolent force that drags the family into the depths of inescapable terror.”
The 2024 horror debut has movie fans bursting with excitement just days before its release, as one said the trailer alone gave them “chills” and unlocked a “new fear.”
Alongside the official second trailer on YouTube, one fan wrote: 'Wow, it really gave me chills. Sure, the ocean is full of terrifying monsters, but I've never been afraid of a pool. I bet this movie can fix that.”
'There's something chilling about the deep end of the pool, a bit like thalassophobia, but not as extreme.
'I remember as a child looking at the 3 meter deep section and feeling like I could 'fall' from a great height. Watching this trailer created the same feeling. I'm looking forward to seeing this.'
'Looks so much scarier than a usual January horror. I'm happy with this.'
'I like horror films. And I think this looks pretty good. I appreciate that it focuses on a swimming pool versus your average run-of-the-mill horror movie.”
'This looks great! The plot is so original, and I'm all for it! I can't wait to see it!'
