An unnamed student said they had known Loving for a while and it “hurt a lot to see him go.”

‘I feel sad. It’s just a lot to process. I’ve known him for two to three years. It hurts a lot to see him leave like this after just a few fights,” they said KUVE.

Other students also revealed that video of the stabbing and aftermath was circulated around the school, leaving many traumatized, including ninth-grader Jayden Albequerque.

“One of my friends told me there had been a murder, and I didn’t believe it until they showed me a video of what happened. And that’s where I got traumatized. And I just hid in the corner.

“It was like that man lying dead on the ground, with blood all over the floor.

‘I am traumatized. I don’t know what to say. After I saw the video, I didn’t want to see it again,” Albequerque said VOS7.

State Rep. Sheryl Cole, who represents Texas House District 46, where the school is located wrote about X: ‘My heart breaks for the victim and my thoughts are with the victim’s family during this unimaginable tragedy.’
