A man was stabbed after a fight broke out at Harrods luxury department store tonight, police said.

Reports on social media claimed the altercation broke out over a watch in the Louis Vuitton section.

The Metropolitan Police said no arrests have been made as the force launched an investigation.

A spokesman said: “Police were called at 7:33pm on Saturday 28 January to a fight inside the Harrods store on Brompton Road, SW1.

Officers attended and found a male, in his 20s, suffering from stab wounds. He has been taken to the hospital by ambulance. His condition has been assessed as not life threatening.
