Horror as young woman’s dead body is found outside apartment in Footscray, Melbourne
The lifeless body of a young woman has been found outside an old pub in Melbourne
Emergency services attended a former pub, the Royal Hotel, in Footscray early this morning after reports of an altercation.
The site is now believed to be a potential apartment complex. Homicide detectives and forensic officers arrived just after 2 a.m. and discovered the body of a stabbed woman.
A teenage girl, who was present at the scene, was arrested and taken to hospital under police guard for medical attention.
The Homicide Unit is actively investigating the incident on Barkly Street and is appealing for anyone with relevant dashcam footage from around 2am to come forward.
