Horrifying video shows mom threatening to ‘eliminate’ her toddler daughter, 3, while ‘repeatedly beating her with a hanger’ using torturous method seen in Mommie Dearest

A mother was captured on video “repeatedly hitting” her three-year-old daughter with a clothes hanger and threatening to “eliminate” her.

Aaliyah Shantrelle Herring, 25, of Miami Gardens, Florida, now faces two counts of child abuse and was arrested Monday.

The alleged incident occurred while Herring was on a FaceTime call with her ex-partner, David Jones, the child’s father.

The conversation quickly became heated, after which Mr. Jones decided to record the video call.

In the gruesome clip, the mother, who appears to be holding a clothes hanger, can be heard saying, “Because you don’t want to touch your own child. Guess what?

“I’ll finish her off myself, what do you think?”

Then at one point she says, ‘You still won’t shut up? That’s fine, you’re going to watch me kill your child anyway, what do you think?’

According to Miami Gardens police, the clip showed a woman “repeatedly hitting a young child.”

Herring allegedly used a clothes hanger to beat the child, a gruesome method depicted in the 1981 film Mommie Dearest.

An arrest report shows that Herring said she was “disciplining” the child for throwing a TV remote at her, Local 10 reports.

She later claimed that the video was created by her ex-partner using artificial intelligence and that the woman in the video was not her.

Herring was being held Tuesday afternoon at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade on $7,500 bail.

Mommie Dearest is a physiological drama that portrays Oscar-winning actress Joan Crawford as a cruel, unbalanced and alcoholic mother.

It was originally a memoir written by her daughter Christina Crawford, but was later made into a film of the same name.

In one of the scenes, the mother is seen taking her daughter’s clothes out of the closet and hitting her with a clothes hanger.
